P-ESDM Autism Scholarship Program

Applications are being accepted for the My Allie’s Place Autism Scholarship Program,
Parent Coaching in the Early Start Denver Model (P-ESDM).
Parent coaching sessions will be conducted using Telehealth.
OPEN ENROLLMENT PERIODS: P-ESDM Autism Scholarship applications will be accepted anytime and will be considered during a scheduled Open Enrollment period of the Parent Coaching in the Early Start Denver Model (P-ESDM) autism scholarship program. Under the current Terms and Conditions of the program and contingent upon funds in the autism scholarship fund, two Open Enrollment periods will be scheduled each year during the following months:

May 1-31, October 1-31

Notification:

The selection process and final notifications are expected to be completed in approximately six to eight weeks after the close of the enrollment period in which an application is considered.

Parent Coaching Sessions:

The 14 Parent coaching sessions will be conducted using Telehealth. Sessions are typically scheduled once a week on a Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 3 pm for 1 hour and 45 minutes each. Parent coaching sessions are limited to no more than two adults attending with the child.
Parent coaching sessions following the May enrollment period usually begin in early to mid-August, and sessions for the October enrollment period usually begin in early to mid-January. The ESDM Therapist will contact selected applicants to schedule Parent coaching sessions.

To Qualify:

Review complete qualifying requirements in the Terms & Conditions posted on the autism scholarship website: myalliesplace.org.
a.Child MUST be 6-52 months of age at END of Open Enrollment period in which applying. An application for a child over 48 months and not more than 52 months of age may be considered as an alternate application.
b. Total current annual gross income of family household is limited to a maximum of $250,000.00.
c. Applicant MUST be child’s Parent or Legal Guardian.
d. Applicant MUST reply to email: ESDMscholarship@earlystartautism.com to accept or decline status as a Finalist or as an award Recipient within 48 hours of notification or scholarship may be forfeited.
e. Applicant/Recipient MUST complete required forms before attending sessions: release, consent, waiver, pre-survey forms and upon completion of coaching sessions, post-surveys.
f. Applicant/Recipient agrees to pay $140 to the scholarship fund of the nonprofit My Allie’s Place by an assigned deadline date (a minimal fee towards the $4,000 value of 14 parent coaching sessions). No scholarship funds will be paid to Recipient. Scholarship has no cash value.
g. Since the Applicant/Recipient is actively coached with child, Applicant must agree that at least one Parent will attend all 14 sessions (with child) and the Applicant/Recipient themselves (with child) must attend a minimum of 12 sessions.
